Who we are

Try It. is a specialty coffee brand that sells single-origin drip bags. You can reach us on Instagram at @try.it.coffee.

What we collect

Website analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or city), the device and browser, and actions such as opening the order panel or switching language. This data is not used to identify you.

If you decline, or have not chosen yet, Google Analytics runs without cookies and only receives anonymous signals that cannot be linked to you. We use them for overall visitor estimates.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, briefly processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Ordering through Instagram

When you tap "Order on Instagram", we copy an order message to your clipboard on your own device and open Instagram. Nothing is sent to us until you send the message. Your conversation with us then happens on Instagram and is also covered by Meta’s privacy policy. We use what you send us only to handle your order and reply to you.

Cookies and storage

Google Analytics cookies (_ga and similar): only set if you accept. They help us tell new visits from returning ones.

Language preference (lang): remembers the language you picked, for one year.

Cookie choice (stored in your browser): remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we don’t ask on every visit.

You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

What we don’t do

We don’t run advertising, we don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t use it to build advertising profiles. Advertising features of Google Analytics are turned off.

Who processes data for us

Google (analytics), Vercel (hosting) and Meta (Instagram). These companies may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months, then deleted automatically. Order conversations stay on Instagram for as long as needed to handle your order and any follow-up.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Send us a message on Instagram at @try.it.coffee and we will reply as soon as we can. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
